Day 5 - Santa Fe

Blog is a little late in posting tonight as we just had a fire alarm (there was bit of smoke from a fireplace but all is well) in our hotel and also i have just entered our GPS location for Las Vegas. Tentatively we're looking at staying at the Trump Hotel which is surprisingly reasonable according to Tripadvisor. Speaking of technology, this afternoon, just by chance while speaking with Janice on Facetime on my Ipod, Maureen, Marianne's cousin called on Skype on Marianne's laptop...and then we interrupted Matthew on Facetime during his evening class. Earlier, we connected live with Brad on GMail.
Today the weather was a little cooler than expected at about 61 degrees F. but we braved the 'cold' and walked around Santa Fe Village all day and just before dinner we went for a hike on a trail up a nearby mountain. We ate a amazing breakfast at  ' Tia Sophia's' a real authentic Mexican restaurant and lunch at the renowned Cafe Pasquale which has its own published cookbook. We had dinner at the over rated Shed Restaurant which had amazing reviews by some locals and on the web. Off to bed and we'll probably get an early start on our 9 hour drive to Vegas. Cheers!
